How should this medicine be used ?
Levothyroxine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It usually is taken once a day on an empty stomach, 1/2 to 1 hour before breakfast . Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. The tablets may get stuck in your throat or cause choking or gagging; therefore, the tablet should be taken with a full glass of water.
